A MASTER CLASS CONDUCTED BY BRICE WASSY
Brice Wassy pursues his artistic purpose, exploring with delicacy the musical wealth of Africa, and proposes, in parallel with concerts, Master Classes and workshops around the world.
Combining imagination and imitation, his method, based on rhythmic perception, offers multiple possibilities of creation and improvisation.
Over the sessions, this approach enables the student, thanks to a rigorous technique and through the assimilation of African sonorities, to instinctively transpose rhythm to movement and to naturally explore different rhythms together.
Brice Wassy is the author of « Rhythms of Cameroon », a rhythm method, published by Lemoine editions (Paris, 2000).
